State coalitions provide rape crisis centers and battered women's shelters for victims of domestic violence with training, funding, and technical assistance.\n\u201cThe Violence Against Women Act has saved lives and helped millions of survivors find safety, security and independence from their abuser,\u201d said Maureen McDonald, Community Relations Director at the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. \u201cThe grants to state Coalitions are critically important to supporting our statewide advocacy work here in New Hampshire.
