Elementary students at participating schools in Nashua and Concord \u2013 as well as other interested schools throughout the second district \u2013 will make holiday cards for Granite State veterans to thank them for their service to our country.\u00a0\u00a0\n\u201cOur veterans, service members, and their families have sacrificed so much to protect and serve our state and country,\u201d Kuster said. \u201cThe \u2018Holiday Cards for Heroes\u2019 drive is a great opportunity for young students to learn about New Hampshire\u2019s proud tradition of honoring those who serve and to thank those who have worn the uniform. I encourage schools across the second district to participate and help send a message of thanks to New Hampshire\u2019s veterans this holiday season.\u201d\nMembers of Kuster\u2019s staff will pick up cards from participating schools.
