In October, she helped pass the Older Americans Act, which provides funding for Meals on Wheels, senior centers, caregiver support, and other services for the elderly. She also introduced the Wild Game Donation Act with Congressman Don Young (AK-AL), a bipartisan bill that would provide a tax credit to hunters who donate game to food charities. In 2013, Kuster successfully fought against dangerously high cuts to SNAP in the Farm Bill.\nSt. Joseph Community Services is a regional nonprofit that seeks to build independence for seniors through a range of programs, including nutrition assistance and support services.
