To that end, I support efforts to ensure that people who like their current plans are able to stay on them for another year.\n\u201cIn New Hampshire, Granite Staters already have the option of renewing their current plans. Families across the country should be able to do the same, and I encourage good-faith efforts to make that possible. I support the Keep Your Health Plan Act in its current form, and am pleased that the President has proposed his own fix. It\u2019s encouraging that both Congress and the President are working to get this right.\n\u201cThe Affordable Care Act is not a perfect law and I am committed to improving it, but make no mistake: we cannot go back to the days when insurance companies were free to deny coverage to those with preexisting conditions or drop people from their plans just because they get sick.
