As the daughter of a World War II veteran, I have great respect and appreciation for the courage and dedication of the men and women of our Armed Forces. Today and every day, our thoughts and prayers are with those weve lost, our veterans, active duty service members, and their families and friends. I thank each of you for your unwavering patriotism and dedication to your country and your countrymen and women.\nAs a member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, I will continue to work each day to serve all those who have served us so valiantly. Our veterans have made incredible sacrifices in honor of their nation. It is a debt we can never repay, but it is essential that we provide them with the care and support they so richly deserve.
