All across the nation, women continue to make an average of 77 cents for every dollar earned by men. This doesn\u2019t just hurt women, but hurts working Granite State families across New Hampshire. That\u2019s why I urge my colleagues in Congress to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, legislation to help put an end to wage discrimination based on gender.\u201d\nCongresswoman Kuster is a strong advocate for equal pay and increased economic opportunities for New Hampshire women and their families. In addition to being a cosponsor of the\u00a0Paycheck Fairness Act, which would increase the effectiveness of remedies available to victims of pay discrimination on the basis of gender, Kuster recently unveiled her Women\u2019s Economic Agenda, a plan for Congress to prioritize initiatives to help level the playing field for Granite State women and their families.
