But to my constituents who have asked about the appointment of Steve Bannon as chief White House strategist, I share your fears. If the President-elect wants to represent us all, Bannon will surely lead him in the wrong direction. His views are extreme, to say the very least, divisive and offensive. His rhetoric has targeted Jews, Muslims, women, members of the LGBTQ community, and all minorities, and that is just the beginning. We cannot let his behavior be normalized. It is unacceptable. And I will do everything I can to fight on behalf of all of you who are rightfully afraid of what message this sends to our nation.\u201d", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://langevin.house.gov/press-release/langevin-statement-appointment-steve-bannon-chief-white-house-strategist"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 2.3570361081510782, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
