The House fulfilled Larsen\u2019s request to fund the bipartisan Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act, which includes \u201cexpanded access to lifesaving overdose reversal drugs and improve pain management and prescription practices.\u201d\n\tSome potential overdose reversal drugs include Narcan, a nasal spray that blocks opiate receptors and quickly reverses the physical affects of heroin or other opiates.\n\tThe $1 billion, which will be used over the next two years, will be given preference to states with an incidence or prevalence of opioid use disorders.\n\tDouglas Wagoner, communications director for Larsen, said Washington state stands to benefit from the law, but is \u201ctoo early to surmise exact dollar amounts\u201d because distribution depends on how incoming administration interprets the law.\n\t###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://larsen.house.gov/house-approves-funds-opioid-fight"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8301469497382641, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
