The artwork that receives the most votes will be named this years winner and will be displayed in the tunnel leading to the U.S. Capitol for one year. The winning student and one parent or guardian will also each receive a free flight to Washington, D.C. to attend a reception held in their honor (all other expenses must be covered by the winner). This year, Loebsacks office received nearly 40 entries. Once again this year, to open the process to as many Iowans as possible, the winner will be chosen by the public. Voting opened TODAY, Monday April 23rd and will close on Friday, April 27th at 5:00pm CDT. The winner will be notified and announced shortly after.
