The grant of $500,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission for the Haysi Trails Development Project will encourage tourism in Dickenson County and support area businesses. These funds will help draw more visitors to discover all our region has to offer.\r\nBackground\r\nARC's grant funds the Phase 1 renovation of 4,415 square feet of the old Haysi Theater Building into the Haysi Trails Center.
