The conference concluded a series of roundtables that Congressman Mullin has facilitated since 2016 and briefed the community on the new resources made available to them through the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act.\r\nWhen we started hosting opioid roundtables in 2016, Oklahoma's communities, particularly right here in Claremore, stepped up to the plate,said Mullin. At our first roundtable in Claremore, community leaders and representatives brought problems and ideas to the table. Two years later, I am proud to say that together, we have found solutions at the federal level that will give our communities the resources they need to combat the crisis next door.\r\nFOX 23:For two years, Congressman Markwayne Mullin has hosted roundtable meetings about the [opioid] epidemic.
