{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://pallone.house.gov/press-release/pallone-applauds-woodbridge%E2%80%99s-academy-allied-health-and-biomedical-sciences-named", "Pallone Applauds Woodbridges Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences Named National Blue Ribbon School", "2014-09-30", "2014", "2014-09", "Democrat", "House", "NJ", "Frank Pallone", "P000034", "pallone.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "WASHINGTON, DC\u00a0\u2014 Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that the Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences in Woodbridge, New Jersey has been named a National Blue Ribbon School for 2014.\u00a0 The academy was one of 337 public and private schools from across the country to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School this year.\u00a0\n\u201cCongratulations to the Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences at Woodbridge for this well-deserved honor,\u201d said Congressman Pallone.\u00a0 \u201cYou have been rightly recognized as an exceptional school where students learn the skills necessary to succeed both in college and their career. \u00a0You have made Middlesex County very proud, and I look forward to working together to ensure continued success for New Jersey students in the years to come.\u201d\nThe Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences is a public high school that is part of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School (MCVTS) District.\u00a0 The academy presents students with the unique opportunity to explore a career in the medical and biomedical research fields while also completing rigorous academic courses that prepare them for college. \u00a0Earlier this year, the academy was also recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Top 500 public high schools in the United States.\nThe National Blue Ribbon Schools Program acknowledges public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps and demonstrating that all students can excel at high levels.\u00a0 Since the program started in 1982, more than 7,500 of schools across the country have been presented with this award.\nThis is the third year in a row that an MCVTS school has been named a national Blue Ribbon School, with the honor going to Perth Amboy Vo-Tech in 2012 and Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies in 2013.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://pallone.house.gov/press-release/pallone-applauds-woodbridge%E2%80%99s-academy-allied-health-and-biomedical-sciences-named"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7968519348651171, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
