LoBiondo (NJ-02) released the following statement on the Third Circuit\u2019s upholding of a District Court ruling barring New Jersey from allowing sports wagering in the state:\n\u201cThe decision from the Third Circuit is extremely disappointing and one that we do not support.\u00a0 Fortunately, there remain opportunities for appeal, which may still allow New Jersey to move forward with sports wagering.\u00a0 We fully support the State of New Jersey appealing the decision and seeking further review by the Third Circuit or U.S. Supreme Court.\u00a0  \n\t\u00a0  \n\t\u201cFurthermore, the Third Circuit\u2019s decision reinforces our calls for federal legislation to allow the State of New Jersey to implement its sports wagering law and authorize legalized sports wagering.\u00a0 The people of New Jersey clearly support it.
