Richmond (LA-02) issued the following statement after the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced its plan to address issues within the Road Home Homeowner Assistance program:\nI commend the administration for making these necessary changes, saidRep. Richmond. I have been engaging the President on our Road Home concerns for some time, including during my trip to Africa with him earlier this month. There is no better time to announce these changes than during the 10 year commemoration of Katrina and Rita.
