As members of Congress, we have a responsibility to investigate and deliver real answers for the American people,\u201d said Congresswoman Kelly. \u201cThe intelligence community has done their job and made it clear, we need to get to the bottom of this.\u201d  \n\t\u00a0  \n\tSpecifically, her letter requests a full committee investigative hearing on \u201cRussia\u2019s actions in the 2016 Presidential race and its efforts to undermine our election.\u201d\u00a0  \n\t\u00a0  \n\tThe letter continues: \u201cNow that CIA sources have indicated that there was indeed Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential contest, we must act swiftly to defend our democratic elections and hold the Putin Regime accountable for their actions.\u201d  \n\t\u00a0  \n\t\u201cFailure to investigate these serious allegations is nothing short of a violation of the public trust,\u201d added Congresswoman Kelly.  \n\t\u00a0  \n\tCongresswoman Kelly also serves on the Oversight Committee's National Security subcommittee and is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://robinkelly.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/congresswoman-kelly-calls-for-congressional-investigation-into-russia-s"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.3962138909846544, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
