The Obama administration held talks with the communist regime this week and the regime responded to Obamas misguided gestures by imprisoning Cubans on Human Rights Day.\nWhile the Obama administration lauds its own policies of unilateral concessions to the regime, those who espouse the ideals we hold so dear  freedom and democracy  are rounded up like criminals. A bevy of unilateral financial and political incentives has not caused these authoritarians to unclench their grip on power.
