{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://sablan.house.gov/press-release/cnmi-awarded-185-million-fema-preparedness-grants", "CNMI awarded $1.85 million in FEMA preparedness grants", "2013-08-26", "2013", "2013-08", "Independent", "Senate", "MP", "Gregorio Sablan", "S001177", "sablan.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "CNMI awarded $1.85 million in FEMA preparedness grants                                           \n              Aug 26, 2013      \t\t        \t    \n      \t            \n                    \n                                            \n          \n        \n        \n            \n    \n  \n    \n    \n    The Department of Homeland Security\u2019s Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the following grant allocations to the CNMI for FY 2013 state and local preparedness grant programs.\u00a0 Under the State Homeland Security Program, the CNMI was awarded $790,712 to support the implementation of homeland security strategies to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism and other catastrophic events.\u00a0 At least 25 percent of this award will go towards law enforcement terrorism prevention activities.\u00a0 $863,367 in Emergency Management Performance Grants was also awarded to the CNMI for assistance in providing a system of emergency preparedness for the protection of life and property from hazards and to vest responsibility for emergency preparedness.\u00a0 The Commonwealth Ports Authority also received $195,096 in Port Security Grant Program funding for transportation infrastructure security activities.\u00a0 Congratulations to the CNMI Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management and to the Commonwealth Ports Authority.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://sablan.house.gov/press-release/cnmi-awarded-185-million-fema-preparedness-grants"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.7600329592823982, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
