{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://sablan.house.gov/press-release/fema-seeks-local-help-assist-disaster-recovery-through-job-fair", "FEMA & CNMI DOL holding disaster job fair at NMC", "2015-09-11", "2015", "2015-09", "Independent", "Senate", "MP", "Gregorio Sablan", "S001177", "sablan.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "Saipan, CNMI  FEMA has joined forces with the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands Department of Labor (DOL) to recruit individuals to work in temporary, full-time positions available locally with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).\nThe DOL, in conjunction with the FEMA local hire program, will host a job fair at the Northern Marianas College on Sept. 14-17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room A8.\nThe purpose of this fair is to give local residents who have no Internet connectivity the opportunity to apply for the temporary jobs with FEMA.\nThe CNMI Transit Authority will provide free transportation to and from the Northern Marianas College during the event. Shuttle service starts at 8 a.m. and will pick up and drop off job applicants until 2 p.m. at the following locations:\n In the As Matuis/San Roque area, Welcome Market\n In the Tanapag area, IMart\n In the Garapan area, Paseo de Marianas\n In the Capitol Hill area, Sarah Market\n In all three Kagman areas, Kagman Market\n In the San Antonio area, Basketball Court\n In the Koblerville area, Basketball Court\n In the Dandan area, Dandan Middle School\nCall COTA for more information or, if you need special assistance and cannot get to one of these locations. 664-COTA/2980 or 483-4844.\nAt the fair staff from the DOL will assist with resume writingl and a FEMA representative will help make sure resumes are routed to the correct location.\nFEMA routinely offers employment to residents in disaster areas to support the local economy and provide jobs to those who may have lost employment due to the disaster. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older.
