Whether it\u2019s trade moving through our ports or tourism along our coastline, our waterways are fundamental natural assets.\u00a0The bill authorizes $231,239,000 in federal funding for the Port of Charleston harbor deepening project and $31,939,000 for beach re-nourishment for Edisto Island.\n\u201cWhat\u2019s notable about the bill is not only which projects were authorized but the way those projects were approved.
