Congressman Simpson is Chairman of the U.S House Energy and Water Development Appropriations Subcommittee, which oversees funding for the Department of Energy.\u00a0 Senator Risch is a senior member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, with jurisdiction over the Department of Energy.\u00a0 Senator Crapo is a member of the Senate Budget Committee, which debates the budget blueprint for federal departments.
