Stivers nominated the following students:\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lydia LaRue was nominated to West Point. LaRue attends Amanda Clearcreek High School and is the daughter of Dean and Wendy LaRue. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0John Lemaster was nominated to the United States Naval Academy, West Point, and the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 Lemaster attends Amanda Clearcreek High School and is the son of Brent and Rosalinda Lemaster. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Kristin Riggs received a nomination to West Point.\u00a0 She attends Canal Winchester High School and is the daughter of Kent and Pam Riggs. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Bryce Bailey received a nomination to the Air Force Academy. He graduated from Columbus Academy and currently attends the Air Force Academy Prep School and is the son of Shawn and Deborah Bailey. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Benjamin Tobin was nominated to the United States Naval Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, West Point, and the Air Force Academy. He graduated from Fairfield Christian Academy and currently attends Ohio University.\u00a0 He is the son of Michael and Resa Tobin. \u00a0 \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Tazz Ashbaugh was nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy. He attends Fairfield Union High School and is the son of Chad and Denese Ashbaugh. \u00a0 \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Carlos Rodriguez received a nomination to West Point. He attends Fairfield Union High School and is the son of Carlos and Suzanne Rodriguez.  \r\n\u00a0   \r\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Rachel Hawthorn was nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 She attends Liberty Union High School and is the daughter of Marc and Lisa Hawthorn. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Tearence Lane was nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 He attends Pickerington Central High School and is the son of Dredrick and Stacey Lane. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Matthew Musso was nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 He attends Pickerington Central High School and is the son of Joseph and Rebecca Musso. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Durkin Ross received a nomination to the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 He graduated from Pickerington North High School and currently attends The Ohio State University and is the son of Donald and Lisa Ross. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Eli Frazier received a nomination to West Point.\u00a0 He attends William V. Fisher Catholic High School and is the son of David Frazier and Bridget Kuhn. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Trevor Parker received nominations to the United States Naval Academy and West Point. Parker graduated from Hilliard Darby High School and currently attends Capital University and is the son of Jeffrey Parker and Michelle Rutledge-Parker. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Benjamin Radcliff received nominations to West Point, the Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy. Parker attends Hilliard Darby High School and is the son of George and Dodie Radcliff. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Brienne Walker was nominated to the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 She attends Hilliard Bradley High School and is the daughter of Mark and Leslie Walker. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Sarah Sprague was nominated to the United States Naval Academy.\u00a0 She attends Hilliard Bradley High School and is the daughter of Wallace and Lisa Sprague. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0William Brooks received a nomination to the United States Naval Academy, West Point and\u00a0 the Merchant Marine Academy.\u00a0 He attends Logan High School and he is the son of Jason and Kristin Brooks. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0William Merrill received nominations to West Point and the United States Naval Academy.\u00a0 He attends Logan Elm High School and is the son of Frank and Lisa Merrill. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Caleb Welch was nominated to the United States Naval Academy, West Point and the Air Force Academy. He attends Teays Valley High School and is the son of Timothy and Kimberly Welch. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Nicholas Klitzka was nominated to the United States Naval Academy, West Point and the Air Force Academy.\u00a0 He attends William V. Fisher Catholic High School and is the son of Thomas and Patricia Klitzka. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Daniel Hummer received a nomination to the United States Air Force Academy.\u00a0 He graduated from Upper Arlington High School and currently attends the Air Force Academy Prep School.\u00a0 He is the son of Mark and Jeanine Hummer. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Brandon Jones was nominated to the United States Air Force Academy. Jones is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and currently attends the Air Force Academy Prep School.\u00a0 He is the son of John and April Jones. \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coleson Carmell was nominated to the United States Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy. He attends Upper Arlington High school and is the son of Cavin Carmell and Melloni DeMuth. \u201cIt is an honor to nominate these outstanding students to\u00a0 the U.S. military academies,\u201d Stivers said.\u00a0 \u201cAs a Colonel in the Ohio Army National Guard, I thank these students for their interest in serving our nation in such a meaningful and important way. I also would like to thank Ohio\u2019s 15th District Academy Review Board for their thoughtful recommendations and assistance in interviewing the students.\u201d In pursuit of a nomination to a U.S. military academy, students submit an application and are interviewed by Congressman Stivers\u2019 Military Academy Review Board. The board evaluates the students on the basis of academic performance, leadership ability and community involvement. To receive a service academy nomination from Congressman Stivers, candidates must be an unmarried resident of Ohio\u2019s 15th Congressional District, a United States citizen and between the ages of 17 and 23.
