Brooks (R-IN) released the following statement after the Department of Health and Human Services announced that only 701 Hoosiers have successfully signed up for healthcare plans on the Obamacare exchanges:\n\u201cHealthcare.gov is a broken web site and Obamacare is a broken law. Too many of my constituents have had their insurance plans cancelled because of Obamacare. Too many of my constituents have been forced to navigate a website that simply doesn\u2019t function properly.\nThese low enrollment numbers prove that Hoosiers are frustrated by the careless implementation of Obamacare. They\u2019re tired of this administration\u2019s broken promises and want a better path forward.\u201d\u00a0\nThe figures reflect those who enrolled between October 1st and November 2nd. Overall, just over 106,000 Americans were able to sercure a plan during the first month of enrollment.
