{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://thompson.house.gov/floor-speech-thompson-celebrates-life-and-legacy-jim-holden-franklin-venango-county", "Floor Speech: Thompson celebrates the life and legacy of Jim Holden of Franklin, Venango County", "2013-11-21", "2013", "2013-11", "Republican", "House", "PA", "Glenn Thompson", "T000467", "thompson.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "Remarks:\n\t\"Mr. Speaker, I rise today to celebrate the life of Jim Holden, a resident of Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania.\u00a0 \u00a0\n\tAn outdoors enthusiast who tirelessly promoted recreation and tourism in Pennsylvania, Jim passed away on November 9th at the age of 73.\n\tThe co-founder of the Allegheny Valley Trails Association, Jim was instrumental in the Rails-to-Trails movement, an effort in the early 1990s to rehabilitate abandoned railways into multipurpose recreational trails for the public to access and enjoy. \u00a0\n\tFranklin\u2019s newspaper stated the following upon Jim\u2019s passing and I quote: \u201cLargely unrealized were how Holden\u2019s efforts impacted the overall economy of a region hard hit over the years by the loss of blue-collar manufacturing jobs that once made the Oil Region one of the most prosperous in all the country\u2026 his passing will leave some mighty big hiking boots to fill.\u201d\n\tJim Holden knew that our region\u2019s recreational resources could be better utilized to the benefit of the community and its economy.\u00a0 He spent his life making this vision a reality.\n\tOur thoughts and prayers are with Jim Holden and his family.\u00a0 He surely did leave big boots to fill, but also an enduring legacy for us to cherish.\"\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://thompson.house.gov/floor-speech-thompson-celebrates-life-and-legacy-jim-holden-franklin-venango-county"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.8357150256633759, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
