NFIB is comprised of over 350,000 small and independent business owners across the nation.\n \n\t\u201cThe importance of small business to the health of our nation\u2019s economy cannot be overstated. When small businesses are able to succeed, we see prosperity and innovation across the entire nation. When this happens\u2014when our economy is free to function as it is intended to\u2014everybody has the opportunity to work and strive to achieve the American Dream,\u201d said Tipton. \u201cThat\u2019s why we\u2019ve been fighting hard in the House of Representatives to curb the tide of overregulation we\u2019ve seen come out of Washington that inhibits small business growth. We will continue to work to improve the economic climate in this country so that small businesses can have the opportunity to do what they do best\u2014create jobs and strengthen our communities.\u201d\n \nTipton, who owned and operated a small business for over 30 years, is a member of the House Small Business Committee and serves as chairman of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Energy and Trade. He is the co-founder of the Congressional Small Business Caucus, which includes over 90 bipartisan members, and is dedicated to advancing efforts to foster the economic certainty needed for small businesses and entrepreneurs to succeed and create jobs.\nAccording to the NFIB scorecard, Tipton voted in favor of key small business issues 100% of the time.\n \n\t\u201cThe record shows that Rep.
