As a former small business owner and Co-Chairman of the Congressional Small Business Caucus, Tipton has worked to highlight the positive impacts that small businesses have on communities in Colorado and across the nation. Small Business Saturday is an opportunity for members of the community to show support for local businesses.\n \n\t\u201cSmall businesses are truly the backbone of our economy. They are the driving force behind healthy, vibrant, and thriving communities, and they create the vast majority of the jobs that provide millions of families the opportunity to experience the American Dream,\u201d Tipton said. \u201cShopping small gives you the chance to find unique items, and it also allows you to show support for your neighbors and other community members.
