Tipton is a cosponsor of the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2013 (H.R. 24), which passed with strong bipartisan support.\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s alarming that under the current law, the entity that is responsible for setting the monetary policy for the United States of America isn\u2019t subject to full oversight,\u201d said Tipton. \u201cGreater transparency and accountability at the Federal Reserve is long overdue.
