This critically important program promotes comprehensive early childhood development for low-income families of Las Vegas. The program serves both expectant mothers and their children with a focus on newborns and toddlers. \u00a0\n\u201cToo many under privileged children start primary school already behind their peers. That\u2019s why it is so important that we increase access to programs like Early Head Start so all children can receive the critical education, health, and nutrition services they need to prepare for school,\u201d said Congresswoman Titus. \u201cI commend the Sunrise Children\u2019s Foundation for its commitment to the babies of Las Vegas. Our children will shape our future, so we in turn must do our best to equip them from an early age to do so.
