The veto override passed the House by a 348-77 vote and the Senate by a 97-1 vote.\u201cThe families of the victims of September 11, 2001 have suffered an unthinkable loss and their pursuit of justice has been tireless. These families deserve every opportunity to seek recourse in our courts of law against those who were behind the deadliest terror attack in our nation\u2019s history. The President\u2019s veto was deeply disappointing, but thanks to today\u2019s bipartisan action, we stood on the side of justice for victims and accountability for those who aid and abet terrorism,\u201d said Walberg.\r\nCongressman Walberg serves on the House Education and the Workforce Committee as Chair of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee.
