{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["http://woodall.house.gov/press-release/woodall-statement-his-opposition-crdebt-limit-legislation", "Woodall Statement on his Opposition to the CR/Debt Limit Legislation", "2013-10-17", "2013", "2013-10", "Republican", "House", "GA", "Rob Woodall", "W000810", "woodall.house.gov", null, null, "legacy", "U.S. Representative Rob Woodall issued the following statement regarding his opposition to the CR/Debt Limit legislation that passed the House:\n\u201cI'm disappointed that we couldn't get the White House to the negotiating table on any of the big issues facing America.\u00a0 I'm disappointed that the Senate continues to stall and delay rather than engage and move solutions forward.\u00a0 The House stood strong for as long as we had the votes to do so.\u00a0 We pressed hard for America's priorities every day.\u00a0 Over and over again, the House reached out to the Senate and the President to try to find common ground, and each time we were rebuffed.\u00a0 The result being that American government will continue without change, federal spending will continue on without change, and federal borrowing will increase to more than $17 trillion.\u00a0 Our children deserve so much better.\u00a0 I know that since the Senate and the White House disagree with so many of our Georgia priorities that we will not achieve all of our goals, but we can move forward step by step, little by little, and make a difference for America on some of our shared goals.\u00a0 Now that the shutdown is over, the President has changed his message from \u2018I will never negotiate\u2019 to \u2018I am happy to negotiate.\u2019\u00a0 America needs him to keep his word, and I intend to hold him to it.\u201d\nWoodall represents the Seventh Congressional District of Georgia, which includes the majority of Gwinnett and Forsyth counties.\n\u00a0\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://woodall.house.gov/press-release/woodall-statement-his-opposition-crdebt-limit-legislation"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.778342830017209, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
