This bill authorizes resources for the most critical and economically-beneficial projects, and holds the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers accountable to the Table Rock Lake community. I\u2019m glad to see several Missouri priorities reflected in the bill, and I urge the president to sign it without delay.\u201dFollowing Are the Blunt-Backed Missouri Priorities Included in the WRDA Bill: \r\n \r\nMissouri Projects \u2013 The bill authorizes critical Missouri projects backed by Blunt, including much-needed improvements for Kansas City Levees, the Turkey Creek Basin, the Swope Park Industrial Area, and the Blue River Basin. These flood control projects will protect families and businesses. \r\n \r\n \r\nTable Rock Lake \u2013 The bill extends the comment period and time frame for the planned Shoreline Management Plan revision at Table Rock Lake, and lifts the permit moratorium.\r\n \r\n \r\nCooperative Joint Management Act \u2013 The bill includes the Blunt-backed Corps of Engineers Cooperative Joint Management Restoration Act. This provision re-establishes the Corps of Engineers\u2019 practice of allowing cooperating partners managing Corps recreational facilities to keep the user fees collected and apply them to site maintenance and operations. \u00a0\u00a0\r\n \r\n \r\nSmall Ports \u2013 The bill makes permanent a set aside in funding to dredge small ports, first created in the 2014 WRDA bill.\r\n \r\n \r\nCoal Ash \u2013 The bill includes a bipartisan compromise, supported by Blunt, which will encourage the safe disposal of coal combustion residuals.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["http://www.blunt.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/news?ContentRecord_id=82B62D7D-6C66-40C2-BB97-4ED2A99F2E21"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.7091291956603527, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
