We are facing an affordable housing crisis with nearly half of renters in Charlotte spending more than 30 percent of their income on housing. This issue remains a top priority and I have called for additional resources to develop, build, and preserve affordable housing, said Congresswoman Alma Adams. "I am pleased to announce this grant, which will help ensure that our seniors have an opportunity to reside in a secure and supportive environment. All people deserve a safe and healthy home and the District's partnership with FHLBank Atlanta will create more affordable housing opportunities for the people of #OneMeck.
