Adams, Ph.D. will host a 12th Congressional District Military Service Academy Day on Saturday, September 24th at 9:45 AM at the Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences. “Education is at the core of my mission in Congress, and that includes our historic and esteemed Military Service Academies that serve both students and the branches of our Armed Forces,” said Adams. “It is the responsibility of Members of Congress to nominate exceptional candidates for these institutions, and I take this solemn duty seriously. I invite all students interested in serving our country and furthering their education to join us.” Students, parents, and teachers are encouraged to attend to receive a comprehensive overview of the US Service Academies, and learn how high school students can be nominated to attend the academies on a full scholarship. The program will feature representatives from Military Service Academy admissions staff as well as Congresswoman Adams. Registration is required.
