While significant rental assistance is desperately needed to prevent a long-term housing crisis,extending the CDC's halt on residential evictions during COVID-19 andrescindingthe updated guidance would provide urgently needed relief,said Congresswoman Adams.With cases increasing across the country,it is critical thatthe CDCtakeevery possible stepto protect vulnerablerentersfrom the related threats of homelessness and COVID-19.
