The AUKUS Industry Forum brought together industry partners across the defense and business communities to discuss the trilateral partnership between the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Specifically, the forum allowed leaders in both industries to learn more about how the Department of Defense is focusing on the development and delivery of advanced capabilities, the State Department's export control reforms to support closer collaboration with Australia and the UK, and how industry can play a role in this important initiative. In addition to Congressmen Aderholt (AL-04) and Strong (AL-05), senior Administration officials from the Department of Defense, Department of State, and the Defense Innovation Unit brought insight into this partnership during breakout discussions. “This forum represented a unique opportunity for defense industry experts to see why North Alabama is a leader in the defense space.
