Caseworker in Your Community is an opportunity for constituents to meet directly with one of Smith’s congressional caseworkers. Caseworkers may be able to assist constituents who are having problems dealing with a federal agency such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Social Security, Medicare, passports and visas through the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or the Internal Revenue Service. Caseworker in Your Community will be held at the following times and locations: Tuesday, November 14 Kimball Public Library Cultural Room 208 S. Walnut Street, Kimball, NE 69145 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (MST) Sidney Public Library Virginia Smith Room 1112 12th Avenue, Sidney, NE 69162 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MST) Wednesday, November 15 Hastings Public Library Study Room 314 N. Denver Avenue, Hastings, NE 68901 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CST) Astra State Bank Conference Room 105 S. Saunders Avenue, Sutton, NE 68979 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CST) Reminder: Smith’s office will also host a Senior Services Fair in Scottsbluff on Tuesday, November 14. Officials from the Nebraska Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) will offer one-on-one consultations with seniors on available plans. Seniors seeking assistance should bring a complete list of their prescriptions, including dosage information.
