At the same time, while the levels for biodiesel are disappointing and do not capture the potential of the industry, I am optimistic the Trump administration will continue to advance biofuels and domestic energy production moving forward.” Nebraska is second in the country for ethanol production, and Smith has long supported the development and increased availability of biofuels. In March, Smith reintroduced his bill to provide retailers the option of selling E15 year-round. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
