They died in honorable service to our country and we grieve with their families. "That this terrorist attack, along with the storming of our embassy in Cairo, Egypt by a violent mob, took place on September 11 should underscore for all Americans the nature of our enemies and the vital need to stand by our friends. "The fact that the host countries have mildly reacted to the attacks of the past 48 hours makes it abundantly clear that this administration's support for their rise to power is another example of a failure in policy. "When it comes to the perpetrators of this violence, America has nothing to apologize for. With respect to our allies, such as Israel, now more than ever it's necessary that we draw close and send clear messages to the world as to what we stand for and what we will not abide.
