The Provider Relief Fund, established under the CARES Act, provides a total of $100 billion in relief funds to hospitals and other healthcare providers on the front lines of the coronavirus response. The first $30 billion of the fund will be distributed starting today, with more than $240 million of this initial allocation going to Nevada. “Coming off a very grim week nationwide, this is welcome news to our nation’s healthcare providers, medical professionals, and first responders who have been working tirelessly to defeat coronavirus,” said Rep. Amodei. “This approach will provide them with direct relief and increased flexibility to respond to the critical challenges they are currently facing without the worry of having to foot the bill at a later date."
