"The State of Nevada has control and management of water and I believe that is where the decision needs to be made. While plenty of controversy surrounds SNWA and the process of allocating an inter-basin transfer, I am confident that the State Water Engineer has the tools, resources, and experience to make this decision rather than Washington politicians who do not represent the needs and values of Nevadans. "Involving the federal government in the decision-making process is not something that I support.
