Amodei A000369 amodei.house.gov amodei https://amodei.house.gov/news-releases scraper FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Brian Baluta, 202-225-6155 RENO, NEV. – Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) today issued the following statement for Veterans Day weekend: On Veterans Day and every day, may we be mindful of the enduring truth that freedom is not free. We owe many brave men, women, and their families an enormous debt. As a country, we should come together in agreement that our military veterans deserve to receive the benefits they were promised and earned. While I served in the United States Army, Judge Advocate General Corps, I am most proud of my daughter who was in the Navy and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have the utmost respect and admiration for all of our service men and women who have defended our freedom. As we come to terms with the reality of the ongoing fiscal crisis, may we never lose sight of their needs, both in the field and at home. If you are a veteran and would like to apply for benefits, have questions about VA benefits or your application, or believe that the Department of Veterans Affairs has not given your case proper consideration, my office may be able to help. Please contact Ken Gray in my Reno office at (775) 686-5760.
