He issued the following statement: "This is a value judgment. Looking ahead to the upcoming Supreme Court decision regarding the Constitutionality of Obamacare, not knowing what will happen, this vote is probably the only opportunity I'll have to provide some relief to seniors and the middle class to offset the looming and crushing consequences of the President's misguided law. "According to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), the average stay on unemployment benefits in Nevada is 44 weeks. This extension provides an additional 29 weeks beyond that.
