The NDAA sets Department of Defense (DOD) policies and authorizes funding levels for defense programs. “Today, the House passed the bipartisan FY23 NDAA. I am proud to have been a part of this process and am always proud to stand in support of our nation's military,” Scott said. “This legislation authorizes the payment of all active-duty service members, reservists, Guardsmen, and DOD civilians and supports the operation and maintenance of Robins and Moody Air Force Bases and all military installations in our state and nation, including overseas locations.” Scott had 43 bill and directive report language amendments adopted into the FY23 NDAA. “I thank Rep. Austin Scott for his hard work on the FY23 NDAA and for his continued leadership on the House Armed Services Committee. The FY23 NDAA is critical for the defense of our nation and Rep.
