Counselors will be available at the events to speak with participants one-on-one to discuss their Medicare options. Those who are enrolled or wish to enroll in the program must sign up or make changes during the open enrollment period which began on October 15th and ends December 7th. The following workshops will be held during November: MACON Tuesday, November 5th 9AM-12PM Fort Valley State Mobile Lab Northway Church front parking lot (facing Zebulon Road) 5915 Zebulon Road Macon, Georgia 31210 GRAY Tuesday, November 5th 2PM-5PM Central Georgia Technical College Jones County Campus 304 Old Clinton Rd. Gray, GA 31032 VALDOSTA Thursday, November 7th 9AM-12PM Wiregrass Georgia Technical College - Brooks Hall 4089 Val Tech Rd. Valdosta, GA 31602 THOMASVILLE Thursday, November 14th 10AM-1PM Southwest Georgia Technical College - Building A 15689 US Highway 19 North Thomasville, GA 31792 Anyone eligible for the program is encouraged to attend and bring with them their Medicare Card as well as a complete list of all prescriptions they are currently taking. To expedite the process, participants are also encouraged to complete and bring the ‘Medicare Part D Enrollment Event Worksheet’ that can be found at https://austinscott.house.gov/PartD. Staff from Georgia Cares, a program of the Georgia Department of Human Resources and Division of Aging Services and Area Agencies on Aging, will also be on hand to answer questions.
