Scott. “These new missions are a direct result of their outstanding work and service to our country. They will continue to build upon this important work in flying and non-flying Active Duty and Guard units and will position Robins – and Georgia – at the forefront of addressing our country’s key national security concerns.” The new missions coming to Robins include: Air Control Squadron – The Georgia Air National Guard will lead a unit whose day-to-day mission will be to provide command and control of aircraft in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central and South Asia. JADC2/ABMS - The Air Force is building multiple facilities on Robins to support the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2)/ Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) enterprise. New construction will facilitate the replacement of the JSTARS mission and will also support future platforms associated with the ABMS Family of Systems. Facilities will be designed to support a variety of airframes, to include manned and unmanned aircraft. E-11 – Nine E-11 Battlefield Airborne Control Node (BACN) aircraft and a squadron of Active Duty personnel will execute a mission with a very high ops tempo, enabling communications support to the joint force on the modern battlefield. Spectrum Warfare Group – A Group of Squadrons, comprised of Active Duty Airmen, will take advantage of the skills prominent in local Macon/Atlanta area, namely software and hardware engineers.
