Australia, Japan, and India are committed. We need to make sure that Communist China understands there is going to be a whole lot more pain than benefit for moving against Taiwan.” In another effort to support Taiwan, Scott’s amendment to invite Taiwan’s Navy to Participate in RIMPAC 2024, the world’s largest maritime warfare exercise, was adopted into the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
