Don Bacon (NE-02) today responded to the announcement that Nebraska nonprofits and houses of worship will receive $11.4 million from the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP), and Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Program. “Nonprofits and houses of worship have a way of serving our communities in ways the government can’t,” said Rep. Bacon. “The Fiscal Year 2024 Homeland Security Grant Program will assist state and local governments to receive the resources required to support national preparedness goals.
