https://bacon.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=364 Bacon Responds to Upcoming Usmca Vote 2019-12-10 2019 2019-12 Republican House NE Don Bacon B001298 bacon.house.gov bacon https://bacon.house.gov/news/documentquery.aspx scraper Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) released the following statement following the announcement on the upcoming vote for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA): “For over a year, Congress has been pushing for a vote on the USMCA. This trade agreement is ready to be ratified and is a major win for farmers, ranchers, manufacturers and workers, and gives businesses the opportunity to sell more of Nebraska’s leading exports such as processed foods, agriculture products, and machinery. “Agriculture is Nebraska’s leading industry, exporting $1.13 billion in beef to various countries, and Nebraska's exports value with Mexico is $891 million and $468 million with Canada. With one in four Nebraska jobs related to agriculture and USMCA expected to create $68 billion in economic growth, I am confident this updated trade agreement will help our state remain a top competitor in our country’s trading industry. “I look forward to voting in favor of the USCMA once brought to a vote. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and over 100 national associations support this trade deal. It’s time to fight for the American people and get this trade agreement passed.” ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-06-27T23:45:33Z
