Jim Banks (IN-03) released the following statement: Having failed to convince the American people or produce any evidence that the president committed a high crime or misdemeanor, Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and House Judiciary Democrats have determined to plow ahead anyway and vote to impeach the president on a party line vote, said Rep. Jim Banks. I am appalled that the powerful tool of impeachment is being abused in this fashion. This is a terribly sad day for our country. I will be joining my Republican Judiciary colleagues and voting NO on impeachment on the House floor next week, continued Banks.
