The witnesses included Jasmyn Jordan, current student at the University of Iowa, Amanda Silberstein, current student at Cornell University, Kenneth Marcus, founder and Chairman of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, Connor Ogrydziak, recent graduate of the University of Buffalo, Pamela Nadell, Director of the Jewish Studies program at American University, and Stacy Burdett, an independent expert on antisemitism. From Rep. Moore's exchange with Amanda Silberstein: Rep. Moore: How has your life been affected by the threatening rhetoric of radical activist groups on Cornell's campus? Ms.Silberstein: Every day, when I walk outside, I question what I do, I question how I appear, I question what I say, and I fear that someone who disagrees with my words or my very existence and could threaten me with any actions. I am on the Chabad Board for my university, and I go to Chabbat dinner every Friday night and am scared to walk out. I am scared to walk alone. Rep. Barry Moore: It's as easy as 123. Genesis 12:3 says if you bless Israel you'll be blessed, and if you curse Israel you'll be cursed. As Christians, we understand that Jesus was Jewish, and we want to rally behind the Nation of Israel. I was over there recently traveling, and the thing I noticed is that most of their weapons are defensive weapons. Whether it's reactive armor of the Iron Dome, those are all weapons to push back against attacks and defend themselves -- they are a peaceful people. I just want you to know that as Christians, we certainly support [you] and the Nation of Israel. Rep.
