Barry Moore (AL-02) voted in favor of H.R. 4468, the Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act. This legislation, sponsored by Rep. Walberg (R-MI) and Rep. Clyde (R-GA), stops President Biden's agenda to force Americans to drive electric vehicles. Biden's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has created aggressive proposed standards that would force two-thirds of all new vehicles to be electric in less than a decade. “The Biden Administration is determined to satisfy wealthy environmentalists and abandon regular Americans by making it almost impossible to purchase a combustion engine vehicle in the next decade," said Moore. "Electric vehicles are more expensive, less reliable, and charging stations in many states are few and far between.
